Router Techniques: A Comprehensive Guide to Using Routers
The portable router gives the woodworker the ability to shape wood in an almost endless variety of ways, creating custom moldings, decorative edgings, and relief carvings of any type--all without the expense of stationary shapers. The router is one of the most popular power tools, called into use for nearly every woodworking project. Today's routers are quieter, safer, and more versatile than ever. "Router Techniques is for beginning to intermediate woodworkers, though experienced woodworkers will find its presentation of the very latest tool models and accessories to be helpful as well. Readers will learn about the different types of routers available--from lightweight laminate trimmers to beefy models capable of ripping lumber stock to size. The magic of the router, though, lies in its ability to create fine joinery of any type. The router can be used for basic lap joints, dado and rabbet joints, and also for dovetails, mortise and tenons, spline joints, and box joints. In addition to joinery, the router can be used to create relief carvings, to cut curves, to plane wood stock to desired thickness, and to surface wood stock. This book shows the basics of these helpful tasks. In addition, readers will learn all about the cutting bits and accessories that let you get the very most out of the tool. "Router Techniques is both a perfect introduction to this most versatile of woodworking tools and a solid reference source that all woodworkers will depend on for readily accessible information.

History of video games (32-bit / 64-bit era) - In the history of computer and video games, the 32-bit / 64-bit era was the fifth generation of video game consoles. It featured both 32-bit and "64-bit" consoles, and the market was dominated by three consoles, the Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 64 with Playstation being the most successful.

128-bit - There are currently no mainstream general-purpose processors built to facilitate 128-bit instruction sets and operations, as 128-bit requires a buffer memory size and throughput width double the size of 64-bit processors, and a 128-bit capable processor would far exceed all practical needs. As of 2005, 64-bit processors are more than sufficient.

16-bit - Prominent 16-bit processors include the Intel 8086, Motorola 68000, Intel 80286 and the WDC 65C816. The Motorola 68000 was 16-bit in that its data buses were 16 bits long; however, it was 32-bit in that the general purpose registers were 32 bits long and most arithmetic instructions supported 32-bit arithmetic, and 24-bit in that addresses were 24 bits long.

16-bit application - A 16 bit application is any software written for MS-DOS or early versions of Microsoft Windows which originally ran on the 16-bit Intel 8088 and Intel 80286 microprocessors. Such applications used a 20-bit or 24-bit segment or selector-offset address representation to extend the range of addressable memory locations beyond what was possible using only 16-bit addresses.
